Outdoor education specialist Acorn Adventure wanted a new identity and strategic brand vision as it becomes a digital gateway to the outdoors for schools, families and young people across the UK. We worked on creating a fresh new visual identity for Acorn Adventure to reflect this. The new branding pays homage to the company’s legacy of trust and expertise in the outdoor education sector, but firmly places it as a digital first brand, opening up access and offering simplicity to schools and teachers as they take young people out into the great outdoors. The logo incorporates an ownable brand shape, which was used to craft the typography and create engaging brand assets. The colour palette is inspired by locations and trips that Acorn offers such as ‘Land and Wave’. The rounded edges throughout the assets and tiled overlays instantly make the brand feel digital-first.
